Mr. Steven Walker, CEO
Steven Walker joined Tech High as the school’s Chief Executive Officer in January, 2010. Mr. Walker has successfully operated multiple companies as an entrepreneur and he holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to pursuing his entrepreneur career path, Mr. Walker was an investment banker with Bank of America, formerly NationsBank, in Charlotte, NC. His passion for education stems from his Atlanta roots as both of his parents were dedicated educators for the Atlanta Public School System for many years.
Dr. Graysen Walles, Principal
Dr. Graysen Walles, is a professional educator and charter school advocate. His education includes a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding Graduate University, a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University. He completed a certification in Special Education at Georgia State University in 2006, and completed the requirements for leadership certification from the University of West Georgia in 2007.
Dr. Walles was has been intricately involved in the development of many successful programs and initiatives throughout his career to include the Elite Scholars Academy, a charter school designed for 6th through 12th graders in Clayton County.
Dr. Walles is happily married and is the proud father of three sons.
Dr. Mulanta Clark-Wilkins, Assistant Principal
Dr. Clark-Wilkins, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, served as a science educator for 11 years before joining the Tech High family in January, 2011. She holds a B.S. in Education with an emphasis in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University, M.Ed. in Education from Cambridge College, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Clark-Wilkins is passionate about education because she believes public education is the primary vehicle that allows equal opportunity for all students to learn; and it provides an opportunity to positively imprint the world daily through the daily lives of students.
Ms. Carol Cordray, CFO
Carol Cordray is the Chief Financial Officer of Tech High School and also serves as the CFO of Junior Achievement of Georgia. Prior to joining Tech High School, she was CFO of the law firm, McCalla Raymer, LLC, of Atlanta, GA. Previously she was the CFO of the investment banking firm, Legacy Securities Corporation, a NASD member. In addition to her role as CFO, Carol worked with the banking team on capital raising, mergers & acquisitions and other projects. She also served as Vice President of Finance for the Airline Division of Stewart & Stevenson Tug, LLC, a unit of Stewart & Stevenson Inc. Prior to that position, Carol worked as Controller and Treasurer of Tug Manufacturing Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor internationally of specialized airline related tow tractors. Carol also has previous experience in corporate accounting with Neptune International-Whellabrator Frye, Inc. and Container Corporation of America. Carol is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Cordray is a Cum Laude graduate of Emory University and holds a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ms. Bianca Rios , Freshman and Sophomore Counselor
Bianca Rios is elated to serve as the 9th and 10th Grade guidance and school counselor for Tech High for the 2010-2011 school year! She is an Atlanta native and has over five years of counseling experience with Communities In Schools of Atlanta. She has also taught in Douglas County as a special education teacher, served as a college and career counselor for Atlanta Public Schools and a family case worker for the Department of Family and Children Services.
She graduated from the University of the West Georgia, cum laude with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. Ms. Rios received a Masters in School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University.
Bianca Rios is a member of the American School Counseling Association, NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) and Psi Chi an international Honor Society in Psychology.
Ms. Rios’ aspiration, along with the counseling department, will be to delivery a comprehensive guidance program with the growing emphasis on preparing students for SUCCESS. The goal of the school counseling program will be to create a guided, planned and sequential learning process from which Tech High School students can begin to develop the skills necessary to become competent adults. Students will have the opportunity to acquire skills in the areas of academic, career and personal/social development. In conjunction with staff members, students, parents and the community members the school counseling program and services can meet the needs of students at various growth and developmental stages.
Ms. Delphenia Wilkins, Front Office Secretary

Shanna Miles joined the Tech High family in 2010. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Library Media from Georgia State University. She focuses on instruction of 21st Century Skills that nudge students toward inquiry so that they may become lifelong learners. The Tech High Library blog serves as her base of research operations.
