A Nurturing Environment

Every student is uniquely different in his or her ability and capacity to learn. For this reason, we get to know students on an individual basis by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, their likes and dislikes, before they even step into a classroom. By individualizing the learning experience, our students spend time engaged in subject matter that interests them most, be it engineering, communications, information technology or liberal arts. 

On average, our student to teacher ratio is 17 to 1. Small class size means that no matter the subject—math, English, biology or history—our teachers can devise a curriculum based on the learning styles of the individuals in their class. This flexibility not only allows Tech High to stay current with teaching methodology, but it also allows instructors to implement hands-on activities and projects within their classroom that keep kids engaged. The advantage of small classes also allow us to better recognize when a student is underachieving; teachers can address the matter and properly motivate the student so they can achieve better results and ultimately perform at their best.

At Tech High, success is our only option.  We understand that success is the result of our diligent preparation, which will allow us to seize and to create opportunities. We will always seek positive and creative ways to move forward, never backwards.  We embrace the challenges that will surely come our way, because we are confident that we have the heart, skill and determination to overcome each one.

We belong to a school family who will help us to be our best.  We all respect each other, work together, grow together, learn together and succeed together.

At Tech High, we will attend and graduate from the college of our choice, which will help us pursue careers that will be fulfilling, meaningful and fruitful.
