Sustainability through Engineered solutions Tech High School is a City of Atlanta charter school. Within our Engineering Academy, students prepare for the future through hands on research and application of those real technologies that will sustain our civilization and its citizens. The future of our society rests on an engagement with the promise of the future as well as its challenges. Technology is the solution to the problems we face in building a culture of conservation. We must utilize resources with a recognition that today’s students are simply the newest generation, not the last one. This newest generation must be prepared and engaged to be effective stewards of our future.

The course of technological progress toward our goals of a sustainable level of energy and resource management will come either through dramatic technological advancement or through the application of a myriad of attainable technologies and policies that , through small savings and developments, provide the needs of this generation and those to come.

In either case , the designers, engineers, scientists, policy makers and citizens that will lead that course are in classrooms today.
